Setting NFT for Sale

Selling your NFT is of course the exciting part!

When you set your NFT for sale, you are transferring your NFT to our escrow account. This enables us to sell your NFT at any time of day without asking you to approve the sale.

HIP-336 is in Previewnet and enables a user like you to grant DPub the authority to transfer an NFT on your behalf without needing an Escrow account. As soon as this is available on Testnet, we will begin testing this new process and remove our Escrow account.

Like minting, you can only set up to 10 serial numbers for sale at a time. To set 100 for sale, you will have to do the process 10 times. Again, a relatively fast process to complete. We are working with the Hashpack team to make this easier.

How to set for sale

1. Set your sell price (how much will you charge for the NFT)

2. Determine how many you want to sell (up to 10 at a time)

3. Click "Set for Sale"

4. Approve the transfer to our escrow account in Hashpack

Like in minting, it takes a bit for DPub and Hedera to synch. Wait a few seconds, then you can refresh the page if the "Total set for sale" is not yet correct.

Dealing with Issues

Sometimes DPub and Hashpack get out of synch and when you click a button it might not show up in Hashpack. There are a few ways to solve this problem

1. Refresh the screen - this often resets the connection

2. Logout of DPub then connect wallet again

3. Close the Hashpack extension, reopen, login, and then refresh DPub

4. Logout of DPub, Close Chrome all the way down
